From scaffolding to structure, and finally stability.

I joined this course with the intention to gain tools that could help me focus through medical school and beyond. I can confidently assert that I have in fact achieved this goal; my personal favorite and most practiced thus far is the soft belly breathing. What I did not expect was to find myself in a focused community that created a safe space I would be hard-pressed to find elsewhere. In the journey to find it in ourselves to become more mindful, relaxed, and forgiving, we shared personal stories which haven’t been shared even to close friends and family. It was this connection that made the learning much more compelling than reading up on the subject.
